Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Aug. 14-Aug. 18. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Chicken Cordon Bleu, parsley potatoes, green beans, carrot cake, northern bean soup;

Tuesday — Turkey/bacon/potato wraps, asparagus, banana, apple crisp, soup;

Wednesday – Chicken salad sandwich, cucumber w/sour cream, salad, tropical fruit, black bean soup;

Thursday — Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, spinach, salad w/tomato, whole wheat bread, fruit cup, soup;

Friday – Philly cheesesteak sandwich, coleslaw, carrot and celery sticks, fruit, soup.

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.-3 p.m.;

Wednesday —Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Men’s Club breakfast, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits (crocheting/knitting) 10:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m. -3 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Aug. 14 -Aug. 18:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Taco casserole, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, pumpkin bread, banana, apricot-pineapple punch;

Tuesday — Black bean soup, chicken salad sandwich, cucumbers in sour cream, tropical fruit cup;

Wednesday — Lasagna, chopped spinach, low-fat/low-sodium Italian dressing, garlic bread, fresh orange;

Thursday — Stuffed pepper, spinach spaghetti, three-bean salad, whole wheat garlic toast, nectarine;

Friday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, yogurt with fresh fruit, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Aug. 14 -Aug. 18:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Turkey chili, cornbread, ambrosia, mixed green salad;

Wednesday – Beef stroganoff, egg noodles, green beans, pears, cookie;

Thursday — Swiss steak w/tomato sauce, brown rice, steamed broccoli, spring green salad, savory style beans, pineapple poppy seed salad.
